Possui grande detalhe nas peças com muitas em cores variadas e um ótimo acabamento com juntas muito rígidas e sólidas, entretanto, não possui muitos pontos de articulação ! In the last episode, Megatron was revived and took the Decepticons and Terrorcons on an attack upon Plains City as well as badly defeating Hot Shot. Now, Optimus Prime says that the Autobots should fall back along with Hot Shot which they do despite that Ironhide and Kicker wanted revenge and allowing Megatron to make off with the Energon. Inside Unicron's head, Alpha-Q senses that Unicron is losing power and re-creates a familiar character. At Ocean City, Hot Shot is placed in an Energon vat to be fully repaired. Optimus Prime gives orders to Signal Flare to have the data for Megatron's sword be scanned and copied. In the forgery room, Jetfire explains to Kicker that the Omnicons have a purpose in the universe to find a perfect place to conduct their studies as the Skyblasts and Strongarms create and forge the sword out of Energon. Outside, Demolisher is still wondering about Megatron and how he missed the good old days. At the wrecked Unicron, Megatron tells the Terrorcons to deposit the Energon onto Unicron. Megatron has plans to restore Unicron and manipulate him. A Divebomb gives Megatron a gift which is an Energon Star. Inside, Tidal Wave is repairing Scorponok and Scorponok wonders why Megatron didn't fight Optimus Prime. At Ocean City, an alarm goes off showing a warp hole opening south of Ocean City. Optimus Prime in his classic red & blue. Prime is your rough, down to earth kind of guy, he doesn't need flashy flames to be cool. This is the second incarnation of the Japanese Convoy (Optimus Prime) figure. This time, his trailer is included. It's a heavy, brilliantly designed figure. The Masterpiece Optimus Prime figure is designed by the legendary Shoji Kawamori, who also co-designed the original pre-Transformers Diaclone toyline and did much work on designing famous anime robots. The other Masterpiece Transformers are designed by him as well. His correct proportions of both his robot mode and truck mode are amazing. He needs this alternative complex transformation to enable these proportions. The figure is very large and comes with the following: - Collector's card - Rifle - Non-transforming megatron in gun-mode to hold in his hand - Energon axe - Trailer - The Matrix of leadership His matrix can be opened like in the series/movie. The matrix lights up, using a battery-powered LED-box which can be removed to replace the battery. The nice thing is that the matrix/LED-box needs to be moved as well during the transformation. Nearly every joint has chromed hydraulics, which look amazing. His wheels have suspension using 2 springs on each suspension. The wheel cabinets have painted/sculpted details. Optimus' head can be removed from his body. It's mounted on a ball joint. His mouth shield can be moved using a button on the back of his head. His hands have separate moving fingers. This isn't really a review but more of a retrospective on all the different series that have come out. Always good stuff, but then there are those odd ball figures that make you ask "why?". This is the first of these reviews.
Finally ! I have used the 2 last days on cleaning and sorting my pesky collecting room ! Here is my transformers collection ! Note* Supposely, 5 of my G1 figures are IGA figures ! ( Starscream, Scrapper, Bonecrusher, Mixmaster and Scavenger. )
my 2nd non-cybertron line/decepticon review, this time the most devious of all,the decepticon general, the one, the only MEGATRON!! note: i forgot to mention, there is a light in the tank's decepticon logo, and a flip-up sight on the tank that doesnt do mutch as the rest of the tank blocks it from the figure
I had recently decided to put up my collection of Transformers toys from the 80's and word got out to the local news, so I had a little 2-3 minute blurb about it. There are over 880 figures, with more than 240 sealed. Definitely a monument to my own nerdiness. It just feels like it's time to let 'em go, if I can get the right price; something between $60-100k.
